DAY 1: ARRIVAL - SURAT THANI - KHAO
SOK
On
arrival at Surat Thani Airport or train station, you are met and
transferred to Khao Sok National Park, where you find some of the
best remaining rainforest in Thailand. The park covers an area of
646 square kilometres and has an ecosystem. After checking into a
simple floating bungalow we spend an afternoon on a boat navigating
around Cheo Larn Lake, which was created by the construction of the
Rachabrapah Dam. This exciting boat excursion will pass the
spectacular scene of limestone cliffs rising from the lake shores as
well as islands dotting the reservoir. The remainder of the day is
free for your leisurely swim or walk along the lakeside. O/N in Cheo

DAY 2: KHAO SOK - KHAO LAK
The beautiful national park of Khao Sok is home to a wide array of
wildlife including leopard, serow, elephant, banteng, gaur, dusky
langur, tiger, gibbons , however most of these species are
nocturnal. The rich variety of birth life is also remarkable since
over 165 species have been recorded in this region. After an early
morning breakfast in the exotic sounds of the jungle we enjoy a full
day exploring the park with an experienced local guide. The majority
of trails follows picturesque riverways beneath a cover of native
rainforest therefore our walk may involve some river crossings. At
the end of our walk we enjoy a refreshing swim at a small waterfall
located within the park before we board a vehicle for two hour drive
to Khao Lak, our final destination. O/N in Khao Lak. (B,L)
DAY 3: KKAO LAK - PHANG NGA - RAILE
BEACH ( Krabi)
Upon leaving the town we commence to travel by roads towards the
beautiful Phang Nga Bay. On arrival we embark on a boat for a
leisurely trip past the famous mangrove eco-system areas and
magnificent sheer islands jutting out from the emerald water. Along
the way we pass the well known James Bond. This famous landmark
first found its way onto the international map through its starring
role in the James Bond movie "The Man With the Golden Gun". The next
stop of our trip is Koh Pannyi, a remarkable village which is home
to the muslin communities. Their houses on stilts have been built
over water and the rear of structure is guarded by a giant rock
monolith. Afterwards we travel by roads to Krabi and embark a
longtail boat to the beach at Rai Le near the peninsula of Phra Nang.

DAY 4: RAILE BEACH
The idyllic island of Rai Le is famous for many magnificent beaches
backed by limestone cliffs and jungle which provide a deep contrast
with the flat blue waters of the Andaman sea. You can soak up as
much sea and sun as you want by spending time on the turquoise water
or lazing on a beach. This free day will also give you various
opportunities to enjoy many optional activities, some of which are
sea kayaking, rock climbing or hiking. The usual water sports such
as scuba diving and snorkelling are also available, however our
guide is on hand to advise information about these options. O/N in

DAY 5: RAILE BEACH - KOH PHI PHI
Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an hour and half
trip taking us to arguably the most beautiful islands in Thailand,
Phiphi. There are two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Nga, which
feature sandy beaches and impressive limestone cliffs, home to a
wide array of birdlife. On arrival we embark on a pleasant walk up
to the top of hill on Phi Phi Don where we are afforded a
spectacular view of islands surrounded by emerald water of the
Andaman sea. We also have plenty of time this afternoon relaxing on
a beach and strolling around the shopping areas. O/N in Koh Phi Phi.

DAY 6: KOH PHI PHI
The fabulous sunny weather and the string of beautiful sandy beaches
make Koh Phi Phi an ideal place for anyone seeking an enjoyable
escape. As a highlight of our trip to this famous beach destination
we enjoy a day out on a boat exploring the complex of Phiphi Islands
from another angle. Along the way we anchor to swim and snorkel in
crystal clear water teeming with many species of marine life, set
against the coral gardens. After feasting on a huge seafood lunch we
continue our cruise to Phi Phi Le and visit the Viking Cave which
contains prehistoric paintings alongside more recent pictures of
modern ships. O/N in Koh Phi Phi. (B,L)
DAY 7: KOH PHI PHI - PHUKET - PATONG
BEACH
Today we spend a half day to relax on a beache in Koh Phi Phi or
enjoy some optional activities. The southbound journey continues
with a two hour boat trip to Phuket, the largest island in Thailand.
This bustling trading town has a long recorded history with an
interesting mix of Southern Thai, Chinese, Malay and Portuguese
influences. We arrive in Phuket Town by late afternoon and drive
straight to Patong Beach, one of the most beautiful resorts in this
region. O/N in Patong. (B)
DAY 8: PATONG BEACH - PHUKHET -
DEPARTURE
There is a free time for your own exploration of the town and
catching up on some shopping areas. The trip ends after transfer to
airport for departure. (B)
