My family and I had a wonderful
time in Hanoi.
I would like to extend my deepest
appreciation to your agency for a job well done! From the arrangements of
transportation, the boat ride at Halong Bay, to even the seating
assignments for the Water Puppet show, everything was excellent and well
planned!
Thang was informative,
knowledgeable and was very patient with us, especially during our shopping
expeditions at the Old Quarters. He is truly an asset to your agency and
should be well treasures!
My sincere thanks must also be
attended to our driver, who was always punctual and greeted us daily with a
warm smile. Most importantly, he drove us around, in very difficult conditions
I must say, safely!
Even though our stay in Vietnam
was brief, we take home with us many fond memories of your local people and
culture! We eagerly await our next visit to your beautiful and hospitable
country.

Tour: Splendor of the North I would like to praise the high quality of the guides we had during our trip. They helped us understand much more about life in Cambodia and Vietnam than we would have been able to in a big tour group or as independent travelers. all had such a wonderful time that is very hard to restrict writing to a few
sentences. Dragon Travel? Superb organization. Care and consideration for our wishes. Each tourguide was very, very different and offered something the others perhaps did not. With one exception (in Angkor) each was great. The Best: in Luang Prabang. As you can read, this was a special journey. We are culture/museum travelers and could have asked for more of that. Our entire trip was just
wonderful. Thank You!! We were amazed just how much we were able to fit into
the trip without getting tired or feeling overwhelmed. All our guides and

But the time at each place seems too short. Hotels on the trip were great. The Metropole Sofitel is outstanding. Hoi An Victoria hotel looks very nice. Sapa and train Victoria were also beautiful. Our guide was Thang. He was only not a wonderfull guide, with patient and knoledge but, in the end, we consider Thang as a friend. We will be back to see Vietnam again. But we think it should cut one day in Hanoi and add it to Cambodia. At every part of the trip, tour guide was excellent and polite, driver was also very helpful. We recommend Dragon Travel to anyone interested in going to that region. Poonam Sachdev 152 Whitson Street,Forest Hills, USA, Tour: Vietnam & Cambodia Date: From 16 To 22/7/2001 Our tourguide on this occasion was the best guide we have experienced in over 25 years of travelling. This quietly spoken , well mannered young man ( Nguyen Duy Thang) , has an excellent command of the English language , a large of vocabulary of English and a marverllous sense of humour which he may have developed as a direct consequence of joking with English speaking tourists. On the treks, Thang related extremely well with the many ethnic groups , the children in particular and the sellers of local handicrafts. He was warmly welcomed by the people who recognized him from previous visits. Thang personally supervised the cooking preparation for cleanliness etc, and he earned the respect of those he dealt with for the home stay. He is an excellent representative and spokesperson for your company.
The trip was amazing and it's very hard to pick out just a few highlights! Our favorite aspect of the trip was getting to see how people live in both the cities and the countryside of both Viet Nam and Cambodia. The driving time gave us great chances to see much of the countries. We very much enjoyed the boat tours that we went on (Ha Long Bay, Mekong Delta, floating village in Cambodia, etc.).We also enjoyed the city tours, touring the temples in Angkor, the cyclos ride in Hanoi and seeing some of the famous war locations (China Beach for example). The guides that we had very very knowledgeable, and definitely added to our overall satisfaction. They were extremely professional, kind, understanding of our "western" needs, made great restaurant recommendations and took very good care of us. We did have a problem in one hotel. In Saigon, we stayed in a very nice hotel, but our rooms were directly above a karaoke bar, which played very loud music until 1:00 in the morning. We changed rooms our second night and it was fine. Be sure to ask the hotel not to put people in those rooms! Finally, it was a great trip and I will recommend Dragon Travel to all of my friends! Very good experience!! Kimberly Stevens 860 W. Satlof American Tour: Indochina Date: From January 7,2001 To January 22,2001 Thank you for your efforts of organising the tour we just completed to the north west parts of Vietnam. My wife and I had a marvelous time seeing parts of Vietnam that are not often seen by visitors to your country. Your suggestion of the additional day being spent at Bac Ha was an excellent suggestion and if we could find a highlight of the trip this may be it but we are not be able to tell which of the many sights we saw were best. One thought is that next time a suggestion like this is made maybe only 1 night be spent in Sapa and 2 nights in Bac Ha with the trekking being organised by the hotel in BacHa. We have much praise and thanks for the efforts of our driver, MrLe Thanh Ha, who had a hard time driving on several days but always pointed out the interesting sights and historical parts of the areas that we visited. If we have a chance to do some further touring during our time working here in Vietnam we would like to go with him again, if it is possible. He is a credit to your company.
